18.Tag - Hervey Bay

Hervey Bay. Eigentlich waren wir nur da, weil man von da aus am besten nach Fraser Island kommt. Das ist die weltgrößte Sandinsel. Aber nachdem wir so einige Prospekte durchgesehen haben, war uns das doch ein wenig zu teuer. Wir sind dann noch baden gegangen, weil was anderes wollte man an diesem ätzend schwülen Tag auch nicht tun. Vermutlich war das Wetter auch der Grund warum Hervey Bay so verlassen wirkte. Ich mein, ich wär auch in meinem wohlklimatisierten Haus geblieben... wenn ich eins gehabt hätte.




Hervey Bay. Actually, we just went there because it's the best spot to set over to Fraser Island, the biggest sand island in the world. But after having a look through an infinite number of pamphlets we decided that it's too expensive. So we just went swimming. That was the only thing one could do on this hot and humid day. We reckon that this weather was also the reason why we didn't see many people. I mean, I would have stayed in my air-conditioned house as well... if I have had one.
