Letzte Station unseres Trips: Brisbane (ausgesprochen brisbn). Man ist die Stadt mal hübsch! Sie hat uns sogar noch besser gefallen als Sydney, weil die Atmosphäre einfach noch ein Wenig entspannter ist. Die meiste Zeit des Tages haben wir damit verbracht durch Brisbane zu tingeln und uns dieses oder jenes anzuschaun. Besonders schön war das Gebeit South Bank, wo 1988 die Expo stattfand. Nachdem die zu Ende war, haben die Brisbaner (?)... ähm, Leute aus Brisbane ein neckisches Naherholungsgebiet drausgemacht. Es gibt sogar eine Badelagune (künstlich) und ein voll cooles Fährennetz, das dem anderen öffentlichen Nahverkehr angegliedert ist. Total super!
Last stop: Brisbane. Wow this city is beautiful! We even liked it better than Sydney due to the atmosphere that seems to be more relaxed and laid back. Most of the day we spent just walking and having a look around. The area South Bank was the nicest. In 1988 the world exhibition (Expo) was held there. After it was over they turned it into an inner city recreational area. They even had a lagoon (artificial) there. Further the public transportation system doesn't only consist of buses and trains but also of a very good ferry system. Really good!
