8.Tag - René's Birthday

Renés Geburtstag :-) ... nach einer der wenigen mückenfreien Nächte sind wir weiter Richtung Norden gefahren. Die Highlights des Tages waren ein Ort Namens Lennox Head, von dem aus man eine spitzen Aussicht auf das Meer und den 7 Mile Beach hatte, der seinen Namen zu recht trägt.
Dort konnten wir uns mal wieder richtig austoben beim Versuch Bodysurfing zu betreiben... prima Tag.
Abends gings dann noch weiter bis nach Byron Bay. Angeblich muss man da gewesen sein... nun, wir waren da... aber dazu morgen mehr...




René's Birthday :-)... after having had one of the rare mosquito-free nights, we drove further north. The highlight of the day was Lennox Head where we had a beautiful view over the sea and the 7 mile beach that really deserves its name. We needed to go swimming there and tried our luck in surfing with our bodies (bodysurfing?)
In the evening we drove to Byron Bay. One of the must-sees of Australia... well, we were there... but more of it tomorrow...
