Noosa Heads könnte man auch als Kreisverkehr Heads bezeichnen. Meine Güte, vo viele von diesen useligen Dingern haben wir noch nie auf einem Haufen gesehen.
Die Walks waren ganz nett, hatten aber nichts Aufregendes an sich, vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, was wir schon alles gewandert sind. Am beeindruckendsten war so ne kleine Felsbucht mit dem passenden Namen Hell's Gates und natürlich die gigantisch guten Lookouts. Da kann man sich schon denken, dass wenn grad Walwanderzeit gewesen wäre, man bestimmt welche gesehen hätte. Naja, dafür konnten wir Delfine erspähen und sogar einen Koala, der sogar recht aktiv war. Er hat gegessen...
The most exciting thing today was the Tanglewood and Coastal track in the Noosa Heads national park. Before we got there we made a little stop-over in Rainbow Beach that got its name from the coloured cliffs nearby. Bur except for that this small town was pretty boring. We went swimming cause whatelse could we do. Once in the water we noted a really strong current that made as well swimming as standing hard work.
Noosa Heads could also be called “roundabout Heads”. You will know why once you get there...
The walks we did were nice but weren't challenging at all compared to those we did before. The walks had a couple of good lookout that made us forget the missing walking challenge :-) If it had been the time for whale watching we would have definitely spotted some. Also, there was an impressive gorge with the beautiful name Hell's Gates and that was appropriate.
Further we were that lucky to see some dolphins and a koala. The latter one was even pretty active. He was reaching for and eating eucalyptus leaves...
